Giotto is our latest MC cartridge, featuring a refined Ultra Micro Elliptical diamond and Boron cantilever. This is the perfect combination to ensure extended frequency response with outstanding dynamics, fine details, precise imaging and elegant sound with any vinyl.
The Giotto cartridge represents one of the most advanced expressions of Gold Note engineering: it has been designed to satisfy the most demanding audiophiles, those who aspire to impeccable musical reproduction, capable of enhancing every sonic nuance, even the most imperceptible.

Each element is the result of careful design and a hand-crafted production process, which blends state-of-the-art technology and excellent materials. The cartridge body is machined from a solid block of duralumin 7000, a high-performance alloy chosen for its structural rigidity and ability to effectively dampen unwanted vibrations. The boron cantilever, known for its exceptional rigidity and lightness, works in synergy with the Ultra Micro Elliptical diamond to ensure extremely precise tracking. This combination minimises wear and tear on the vinyl and the cartridge itself, for a sound performance rich in detail and a pure, dynamic sound: each instrument is defined and rendered three-dimensional, effortlessly, within the environment.
Giotto is characterised by neutrality and balance, incredible silence, excellent reading of the grooves, even the innermost ones of the vinyl, and a stupendous capacity for perspective reconstruction of the sound image, for unforgettable listening sessions.

MAXIMUM COMPATIBILITY

Giotto offers a wide and linear frequency response of 10-40000Hz, returning deep and controlled low frequencies, natural mids and brilliant high frequencies. Listening becomes an experience that faithfully restores the sound scene and emotional intent of the original recording.
Special attention has been paid to compatibility: the 0.35mV output level and 8Ω impedance are optimised to allow ideal matching with a wide range of phono preamplifiers and high-end analogue systems.
